Tradisjonen tro, var det turdag for hele skolen i andre uke av nytt skoleår. U-trinnet startet ved Vigdel fort og gikk nordover til Ølberg-stranda, der de møtte 1-7.trinn som hadde gått sørover fra Sola/Ræge-stranda. Været var utrolig flott og de tøffeste hoppet i havet og fikk en forfriskende dukkert.
